Platts Case Study – Partnering with a 4PL for Vendor Inbound Freight Management

Co-presenting with our customer MN Power-ALLETE, Logistics Planning Services provided insight on how to assess your company's current inbound and outbound freight management and how to unbundle your inbound freight costs.  MN Power provided a case study on how they successfully converted their inbound prepaid/prepaid and add freight costs to collect, avoiding supplier markup charges and sales tax.  This conversion also improved MN Power's visibility to their shipments and provided routing control, which is especially critical during plant outages.
