Does this TMS require installation of costly software or hardware?

There is no software/hardware to purchase or install, it’s a fully web-based and easy-to-use program.

Can I control both inbound and outbound shipments?

Yes, we can handle all domestic and international inbound, outbound and drop-shipments.

Is there a carrier influence that favors any particular freight handling companies?

No, we stand apart from out competition by advocating equally for our shippers and carriers. We simply lay the table with multiple carrier options and let the customer decide which carrier is right for their shipment needs.

Will you be pre-auditing all of our invoices or a random sample?

We pre-audit every bill before the invoice is presented to the customer for approval. Our customers can expect an additional 3-7% savings through carrier billing errors identified by our pre-audit processing.

Are we able to download shipment history and general ledger (GL) coding reports?

Yes, we offer robust reporting and query functions that can be tailored to meet your needs.

Will you provide us a free cost analysis to give us an estimate of the savings we can expect prior to decision making?

LPS will be happy to conduct a cost study on your recent freight transactions. We can use a week, a month or a quarter’s worth of your freight invoices (paper or electronic format) and provide you with a detailed analysis of your bills. We take a line by line look at the rate that was paid vs. our TMS rates.
