TurnKey Objectives:

  • To reduce costs and improve control of the transport of materials by expanding the use of the LPS freight management systems.
  • To accomplish this objective without adding any additional administrative work to the A&E contractors and/or to the electric utility company.

LPS TurnKey Support Team:

  • FIELD - LPS TurnKey consultants will work with your company, A&E firms, contractors and suppliers as required.
  • INSIDE LPS - Our knowledgeable customer support teams will execute routings and work directly with your suppliers.

TurnKey Execution Strategy:

  • Meet with TurnKey project engineers and procurement personnel to establish FOB and freight terms for A&E, EPC, and Subcontractor Contracts.
  • Meet with corporate Risk management team to assess project risks, insurance needs and to define when title and freight is better left with the Supplier to manage.
  • Meet with lead A&E, EPC, and subcontract companies to explain the freight control plan using the KeyFreight VIC system.
  • LPS & Client set up separate GL Accounting and funding processes for the TurnKey or Capital Project.
  • Advise contractors and subcontractors on required purchase order terms to use.
    Setup a customized KeyFreight Vendor Inbound Control webpage for suppliers to receive routing instructions when shipping to the project site.
  • LPS will provide awareness webinars, training, and support for suppliers that ship to the TurnKey or Capital Project site.
